Wire rod is used as raw material in the welded mesh manufacturing industry and pre-assembled frames (panels).

The wire rod round and smooth is obtained by hot rolling under the Tunisian and international standard.

The areas of use of wire rod produced in the factory of SIDENOR are :

The wire rod is produced in diameters ranging between 5,5 and 16 mm and conditioned in crowns between 1,4 and 2 tones depending on the quality.

The wire rod coils produced in SIDENOR plant are separated by casting and each casting is defined by a number. This number allows traceability to the final use phase by the client.
